Renowned Frontman Tony Moore Axed From Metal Legends 'RIOT'
"Not Metal Enough" says a spokesman for the band*

Los Angeles, CA
In a classic of case of man bites self, then gets drunk and shoots dog, Riot has decided to look for another singer after Tony Moore expressed reluctance to leave his new home in Los Angeles to embark on a 9-month world tour. No matter that no such tour had actually been offered the band, it's the principle of the thing, according to some of the remaining members.

When asked about the breakup, it is said that the legendary voice of Riot classics 'Thundersteel' and 'The Privilege of Power' summed it up thus: "That's about the size of it. Other than occasionally playing bass for The Slashtones, I was out of the music business for 15 years and had built a lucrative career in computer graphics. When I suggested that we should probably wait to finish the album before we all quit our day jobs, my Metal credibility was thrown into immediate doubt. Apparently you either have to tour full-time or have a menial job that a shaved chimpanzee could do or you're just not Metal enough for some of these guys. Now if you'll excuse me, I need to finish painting the white picket fence I just put up in the back yard."

Tony Moore went on to note that he'll be teaming up with the entire original cast of Faith And Fire, including Riot axe man Mike Flyntz, for a new album and tour in 2010.
