Slashtones Update

So, we got together the other night and rehearsed for the Joey Ramone Birthday Bash at Irving Plaza on May 19th. As we did last year, we have come up with a new tune just for this years event. I don't want to spoil it, but in essence the yet untitled song is a bit like Cheech and Chong meet The Sex Pistols meet The Ramones meet The Monkeys meet Frank DeVol and Sherwood Schwartz.

OK, take a moment for your head to stop spinning.

As to the gig itself, we've volunteered to go on first again this year, set time is at 8:10pm. I know the lineup and it looks to be another great show. Can't say who else is on the bill yet, but tickets are almost gone. For more info, or to buy tickets go to www.joeyramone.com.
