"Thank you all, for 12 (not so wonderful, but not so terrible) years."

Today the Slashtones turn 12. One more year and the band will be legally old enough to marry it's cousin in some states, but I digress. This whole thing started as a "One Night Only" joke on my birthday back in 1993 and that "One Night Only" just hasn't stopped. I would like to thank the following musicians and friends that have been a big part of Slashtones history:

Thank you to our current crew:
RODERICK KOHN, who's been there since the beginning.
ARNO HECHT, who became the rock of stability in this band from the day he joined.
STEVE BUDGIE, who helped breath new life into this band.
TONY MOORE, who gave the band it's edge.
FRANK & JOEY FORTUNE, who keep me going whenever I want to quit.
JOE LYNN TURNER, a true friend and inspiration.
BRAD ROSEN, our original harmonica player and attorney.
MICKEY LEIGH, another true friend and inspiration.
JAKE BROWN, for always taking a gamble on our musical insanity.

Thank you to our former band members:
EVEN STEVEN LEVEE, our 1st bass player and a good friend.
AMY WAGMAN, the first lady of Slashland.
RAWN RANDELL, who funk-a-fried all our music.
LISA ANSELMO, our own operatic diva.
G-MAN SULLIVAN, who pinch hit in a clinch, and saved the day.
CHUCK HANCOCK, our rather insane first saxophonist, who pointed the band towards it's destiny.
PAUL SHEENAN, the band's first drummer.
BUTCH GARCIA, for his philosophical wisdom and sense of humor.
MIKE LAWLER, who was in the right place at the right time.
LEZ WARNER, for being British and not understanding the jokes,

And to CARLISLE "Doc" PHILLIPS, my brother from another time, who's wit and wisdom would always make me smile and who kept me from killing Rod all these years. Life hasn't been the same without you Doc, may you rest in peace.
