TONE WORLD "NEWZ"
09/03/04
I was really bored and haven't had anything to update on this site in a while, so I created
"Slashtones Merchandise you may never see."
CDs:
Neil Diamond & Tony Moore: "The Metal Years"
Bill Clinton & Arno Hecht: "The Sax Maniacs Live In Las Vegas!"
Includes a covers of Pink Floyd's "Have A Cigar"
Trading Card Set:
Back of card: "The Slashtones performed Live at the Fillmore West's New Year's Eve show for worldwide broadcast. Unfortunately, the satellite feed wasn't properly plugged in and the show was only seen in parts of the Fiji Islands."
Back of card: "Roderick Kohn strikes "Heavy Metal Pose # 621" during his 42 minute guitar solo while performing at the China Club in New York City."
Back of card: "During contract disputes with Alan Hale Jr., the producers brought in Harry Slash to take over the role of "The Skipper" on Gilligan's Island. Harry's tenure on the series lasted only one day. His constant drinking, smoking and belligerence was annoying the other cast member's, but the end came when Harry insisted that the script be changed to include a hard-core love scene between his character of the "The Skipper" and Dawn Wells and Tina Louse's characters of Mary Ann and Ginger". The producers settled all contracts with Alan Hale Jr. the nest day."
