Sorry folks, I've gotten behind in some things and haven't finished the "Led Zep Sessions" report. I've been trying to recall the chronological timeline of events of this recording but Tarik Solongi and I have been producing tracks for this CD in-between other projects since June of 2007. No, we're not slow, nor do we need ten years to record an album like others do. The Led Zep Tribute CD was originally going to be coming out last year, but Versailles Records changed their release schedule on us a couple of times. (Versailles’ original release order was Led Zep, then Kiss, then G N’ R.) Pretty much every time we'd get going on the Zep tunes we had to stop and do the Kiss tunes, then back to the Zep stuff, stop and do the GN’R tune, then finish Zep, all while working on outside projects as well. (Thanks Jake. lol) The Zep sessions report will be finished and posted over the weekend.

I was also planning to announce the official end of The Slashtones as of September 27th, 2008, 15 years and six months after the band's debut. But I'm not going to end this project just yet. Neither Arno Hecht or any of the other Slashtones want this band to end yet, and Paul Heyman recently reminded me that the 10 year anniversary of our first international CD release, "ECW Extreme Music" will be on October 27, 2008. Everyone currently involved with this band feels we should at the very least do one last live concert before calling it quits, so I'm going to hold off deciding on when and how I will end this part of my life for now. Expect more details about all this when the Zep Sessions and Band Update are posted in the next few days
