Mark Hitt is considered by many to be one of todays greatest guitarists. A world-class guitar virtuoso that has been cited as an influence by such notable players as Steve Vai, Joe Satriani, Vernon Ried and Steve Stevens.Mark Hitt was a member of one of New Yorks most legendary bands, Rat Race Choir. Whenever they played a show the auduance was always packed with fans of the band and up and coming guitarist trying to figure out how Mark did what he did. Mark Hitt has also toured as a member of The John Entwistle Band and with Brian Johnson & Cliff Williams of AC/DC, Joe Lynn Turner of Rainbow and Deep Purple, Jack Bruce of Cream and Leslie West of Mountain among other Mark Hitt has recorded with Annie Haslam of Renaissance, Eddie Jobson and his band Green, and recorded sessions with Robert Plant and the late John Bonham of Led Zeppelin for Maggie Bell on the Swan Song label. His credits also include the band Torque (with Steve Lungo from Rat Race Choir and the John Entwistle Band), several soundtracks and a studio stint with The Tubes. |
